Los Angeles Football Stadium
Majestic Realty envisions building a 75,000-seat stadium on 600 acres of open space at the junction of the 57 and 60 freeways in Industry. Its estimated cost is $800 million. The stadium design would incorporate the “natural topography” of the site, saving money on steel and concrete. It also would feature 25,000 parking spaces.
Farmers Field
AEG, proposes building a 65,000-seat stadium with a retractable roof in downtown Los Angeles. The stadium complex would occupy 15 acres (including 4,000 parking spaces) adjacent to the Staples Center. Its estimated cost is $1.35 billion. Farmers Insurance Group signed a 30-year, $700 million naming rights deal for the stadium.
